ABOUT ART AVANESS

Art Avaness is a prominent, well-respected real estate broker with 15 years
residential and commercial property experience.
At thirteen, with an early and inherent sense of purpose, Art interned for his
uncle as an administrative assistant at Remax Tri-City Realty in the up-scale and
exclusive Los Angeles suburb of La Canada.
Following high school Art immediately secured his real estate license, and was
hired as an independent Realtor at the very same firm he had earlier worked as
an apprentice (ReMax La Canada).
While completing his undergrad studies in Marketing and Communication, Art
continued his real estate career. By 2005, he had become one of the pioneer
professionals in the, “reviving Downtown” LA RE market. He developed a strong
working relationship with many of the community’s active and elite buyers, along
with foreign buyers, investors, and top-tier clients within the Asian community.
Art is known for his investment knowledge and sales in landmark luxury buildings
such as The Carlyle, The Century, and several Ritz Carlton Residences in LA and
NYC. At the request of foreign Investors he obtained his New York State Real
Estate license.
His LA office is still at Remax Tri-City Realty in La Canada Flintridge. In New York,
it’s Remax City Realty Long Island with his specialty being luxury residential
condos in mid-town Manhattan. He travels as necessary to Japan, Korea,
Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Indonesia to meet the needs of his overseas
client/investors.
Art owns his own Residential Management Company within which he manages in
excess of 45 Luxury properties, most of which are owned by foreign investors.
Art particularly enjoys “flipping” homes for himself and for his clients. His leisure
activities include travel, golf, horseback ridding, and quality time with family and
loved ones.
